HD Erasure

Exposed information on discarded hard drives, DPT tapes or other magnetic media can seriously impact your business. Company contact lists, intellectual property and sensitive personnel information could easily fall into the wrong hands resulting in loss of business, identity theft or law suits.

eR3 Solutions have two processes to provide our customers with secure solutions for destruction of data for magnetic media including hard drives and DLT tapes.

Hard Drive Data Erasure

eR3 Solutions have implemented a process that ensures that sensitive information is completely removed from customer assets. Using best of breed software coupled with our flagship We3 asset management system hard drives are erased and digital certificates are captured. The digital certificate is encrypted with the unique serial number of the hard drive. Erasure records and certificates can be reported upon and retrieved at the customer's request. Data erasure to DoD 5220.22-M standard is available upon request. Hard drives can be safely reused without fear of information theft.

Disintegration Process - Disintegrates to 30mm by 1mm.

A totally mobile solution easily transported, silent during operation. The equipment simply plugs directly into a normal 13amp socket power supply. This service can be applied to Hard Drives, Tapes and Memory sticks. The System is approved to CESG and Government Security Standard (IS5) compliant at 6mm particles.

High Energy Degauss

eR3 Solutions have implemented a High Energy Degaussing process which completely erases any magnetically stored data from hard drives, DLT tapes, floppy disks and ZIP disks.

In the case of DLT  IV tapes these would not normally be reusable in the new DLT1 drives due to different data formatting standards. However, after processing through eR3 Solutions degaussing station any existing data is completely erased and the blank tapes can be reused with DLT1 drives.

Degaussing provides a secure process for the data erasure of unwanted hard drives. Typically, hard drives cannot be reused therefore customers' can relax due to the fact that any sensitive data has been completely removed.
